Listening to Jeff Jarvis, "citizen's media" maven, talking about government as a network at the Personal Democracy Forum in NYC. The usual dreamy technotopia, painted in the primary colors of his new Google book, but a couple of good points: government has to be allowed to fail, and trust is inverse to control. Best ideas came from the crowd; expectations still wildly exceed how fast government can evolve.
